Project Complete

So most people undertake some fun project like a blanket, or clothing, etc. in anticipation of having a child.  I did not.  Having not done that I had Kapri and felt like a slacker of a mother.  So I decided to undertake making a quilt for her toddler bed after falling in love with the fabric my mom used for Kapri's car seat cover.  Mind you I can't even sew, like not even really a button on a shirt.  So I bought the fabric when Kapri was maybe like 4 months old or so.  She is now 19 months and the project is complete and in use.  Well it didn't just end with the quilt.  I finished the quilt and thought well I must accessories. So one quilt, three pillows, wall hangings, name blocks and vinyl sayings later I am finished and proud. So here is my brag.

Just starting

All pieced together ready to be quilted

Quilted and she is already loving it

Pillow that was later flip flopped so blue is on top

Pillow #2 its a bolster kind. I didn't get a pic of Pillow #3

Wall hangings and growth chart. I have a matching bug for each year for the growth chart.

Vinyl saying over crib

Name blocks. Color slightly altered by flash
Her bed. Her sheets and dust ruffle match the large pillowcase.
